What’s happening?

deepwatch is changing our single sign-on domain name from “deepwatch.okta.com” to “login.deepwatch.com”.

When is it happening?

This change will take place on August 25, 2020 at 8am EDT. At this time, your identity team will also need to update the domain name on your side of the federation. deepwatch will be performing multiple changes on our side. Failure to update the SSO URL could prevent users from logging into deepwatch solutions. Change on the deepwatch side is expected to take 1 hour. deepwatch Engineers will be made available to troubleshoot any issues that come up.

What do I need to do?

On August 25, 2020 beginning at 8am EDT, you will need to update the single sign on URL in your identity provider. The old domain name will include “deepwatch.okta.com” and should be replaced with “login.deepwatch.com”.

Value that you need to change in the federation:
Single sign-on URL (name varies, but should be changed if contains “deepwatch.okta.com”)

Values that you should not change in the federation:
Entity ID
Certificate

Once all necessary changes have been made on the deepwatch side, communication will be sent out via https://status.deepwatch.com/, where you are encouraged to subscribe for all updates and change notifications. If you encounter any issues, you can email your squad manager.
